My name is Lee and I’m an avid Adobe Web Premium user & customer. Yes, I actually pay for all my software.

Anyway, here is my honest & very short review of CS4 Web Premium:

Wicked, awesome, creativity unleashed… are just a few words to describe CS4. As a former Illustrator & Dreamweaver only user I was skeptical about shelling out over $600 bucks to get Photoshop, Fireworks, Bridge, etc.

Was it worth it? Totally, I have even ended up using Soundbooth, Fireworks & Photoshop and they all are easier to use than ever. When I get stumped, which does happen every so often, there are 100’s of tutorials on tv.adobe.com and YouTube. With video these days it is like having a pro bono instructor at your disposal 24/7. I have even adopted Bridge as my preferred library manager of images & photos and it has gotten me into the habit of rating & tagging my files with keywords, which is starting to make my life a whole lot easier.

The only downside, next to the relatively high price tag, is it is pretty intensive (as it should be) on your computers CPU, Memory & Video Card. In other words, if you have an older machine then you will definitely want to upgrade. I would suggest having a great video card and not running anything below 2.0 gHz, and despite Adobe saying 1GB of Ram is good enough, I would suggest at minimum you should have 2gb. Oh, I’m a Windows user (please don’t hold that against me) so I can’t speak for the Mac folks.

That’s it folks… I’ll try and get individuals reviews of each individual CS4 product posted as soon as possible. Please feel free to post your comments below.
